Tax Tips
Tax Tip for Individuals
Self-employed individuals have until June 15 to file their personal tax returns. If you owe taxes consider making a tax installment if you think you will owe taxes because it can saves interest and penalties if you file late. We can help by calculating your tax estimate, how much of an installments to make and how much it will save.
Tax Tip for Small Business
Self-employment expenses must be documented and receipts kept. Tax courts have disallowed what might otherwise have been legitimate expenses due to poor or non-existent records and documentation. Poor support or a lack of proof may lead to the imposition, or upholding, of penalties assessed by CRA.
